What are some grants / scholarships / loans a person can get on an emergency ASAP need? I just found out my university royally d*cked me over because they never told me my financial awards from them are only good for 4 years. Besides speaking to my school's Dean for my financial advisor's lack of communication skills, I am wanting to know what are some good grants or scholarships that anyone knows that can give away money on "emergency" based need (e.g. where I was unable to apply for their grant/scholarship by their deadline [like June] because then I had no idea I would be short on money, and now I just found out so I'd need money right away). Paying and preparing for Grad school? Grants and Scholarships? I'm a junior in undergrad this fall with high hopes to make it into a high ranking grad school. I am majoring in English, with a possible Spanish minor. I have about a 3.7 overall GPA and a 3.8 major GPA. I have just recently began studying for the GRE. Here's my problem.
