Grants and Scholarships

How do study grants, scholarship and student loans work?

I would like to do my Masters overseas next year. I've read in some of the (potential) schools' websites that they offer things like student grants, scholarships and student loans. What are these exactly and how do they work? Which one is the best option?

  1. Hi Mate, grants, scholar or student loan are 3 different thing but for 1 reason they exist which is to help the student. Grant and scholar is similar, you don't have to pay back, they work as a gift of cash. In other hand, loan will required you to pay back, and student loans probably would not charge you interest. You can check more of grants or scholar information over the net.
  2. Grants and scholarships do not require you to pay back. It is like giving you free money for you to further your studies whereas loans is like normal loans whereby you have to pay back sometimes with interests and sometimes without.
