Where is the best place to look for scholarships or grants if you live in Texas?
Im a senior and my parents are self employeed only my father works. My parents have never been to college. I dont think I will qualify for financial aid its not that my parents make to much money its just that the net gross is different than everyone elses. I need a way to help pay for college I really dont want to take out loans.What can I do. Are there any scholarships out there for me?

- I totally understand your situation. If you go full time there will be more money out there for you. Keep that in mind, event he Texas Grant will pay for more if you plan to attend full time. Public schools get more money than do private schools. First step is to see what your school that you are going to offers then branch out from there. I would apply for those that renew every semester or else you will have to keep paying every semester.
- Concerning grants... Pell Grants are given to students from all states, including Texas, based on financial need.
