Will I get any Financial Aid for Rice University?

I am not a permanent resident and is still under process. But I have done four years of High school in texas and am currently a texas resident. Will I get any grants, scholarships if I wanted to attend Rice. Thanks in Advance

  1. If you are a Texas resident then you qualify for government grants and loans at your local state. lots of student did that before. check this website and apply.. cheers.

  3. You said you are NOT permanent resident, I assume you are NOT legal US citizen or resident, as such, FAFSA is not applicable to you. I suggest you look into international student application for Rice University. Rice is pretty generous in providing merit scholarship and aids for their students. According to its site, it says -> Rice University will offer need-based financial aid to a limited number of international undergraduate applicants entering Fall 2009. You may have to apply separately for that, examine site for detail.
  4. Each scholarship has different rules about it. Some friends of mine in college told me that they have valuable information regarding scholarships from this place and you can check it out yourself. Good luck!
