College scholarships, applications & other information?

I Graduate high school in 2010, I already know what i want to do & everything [ Go to any school in Texas "I heard out of state fee's can be a pain", get an associates degree in Fashion & merchandising; then transfer to F.I.T in New York for Bachelors degree.] Being that i graduate in 2 more years. I was wondering what is the earliest I apply for colleges,grants, scholarships and things of that kind? And what can I do in the mean time to help out Any additional information will be a plus. -Ming.

1. the summer right before senior year is the earliest to apply for colleges, scholarships and all that. i live in tx too and i heard unt has a good fashion program. in the mean time keep your grades up, participate in extracurriculars like art and wait it out.
