Is it possible that most of my tuition (in optometry school) can be covered by student loans and grants? Optometry college is after undergrad obviously...so it's graduate school. Shouldn't the government offer better and more loans to future doctors of America? I heard money isn't really a problem in graduate school because the government offers huge loans. I don't mind if it's a huge amount of money since I'll have a pretty decent salary.

- No, the government shouldnt offer a better loan program, since what they offer now is ridiculous. They will cover 100% of your tuition and then some for books. You're almost garunteed this loan no matter how much you or your parents make. The interest rate is also pretty low, with about 10,000 of it being interest free until you graduate.
