Grants and Scholarships

3.0 gpa, 1550 sats; i probably won't get any need based aid, do i have a chance for any merit scholarships....?

or grants, or any money at all? I'm african american, and i'm doing nursing i live in texas, and im applying to tech, sam houston state, unt, baylor, and texas state. Will i get money from any of these? please help

1. you never know, you will most likely be able to get gov. loans, so make sure you and your parents submit the FASFA (free application for federal student aid) you can google it for more information...also you can check out books at the library and websites that have lists of scholarships..make sure to try out fastweb.com it has TONS of scholarships for all kinds of random stuff.Beware of scams though, don't give anyone money to find scholarships for you. There are also many minority scholarships and programs available, look on the websites of the schools you are applying too to find out special scholarships they offer.
