I want to open a formal dress boutique? Any information on small business grants?

I am considering opening a formal dress boutique in a Mumbai. I am wondering if anyone has advice or pointers for me. Also, does anyone have any information of how much capital I required to start small boutique business? Plzz help me…

1. I never understood why people think their is such a thing as small business....grants. Your kidding, right?
2. You might be able to get a LOAN for part of the startup cost, but not a grant. The places that claim they'll get you a grant to start a business are scams. First you need to make a written business plan. That will include what you'll need for startup expenses. The amount depends on just what you plan for your business to be, and where - there's no one amount anyone can tell you you'll need without knowing exactly what you have in mind. You have a lot of homework to do before you can apply for a loan.
3. that's a good idea what u have.1st you need to know what kind of customers that u want to attract . then in which place,then the cost of ur interior work,then the cost of ur purchase of goods.then the man power. first u need to know the secret of the business. if u invest 5lacs u should at least get a daily business of 15000 thousand rupees for a day. that's three percentage of what u invest. thats the ratio of a small business. if ur confident of startin the business u should stay with the business for three years as a basic rule. only then after u would know what have u earned from the business. its like a new born baby u should feed it till it walks.u should be having back up for ur rent and other expenses for 6months which would help u to learn ur position better
