Grants and Scholarships

Are there special grants/scholarships for children of ex-convicts. Anybody know where to look?

In 2001, my husband was told about various grants and scholarships available for his(our) children. I cant seem to find it on the web, can anybody help???

1. some children can get certain financial help but being the child of an ex convict has nothing to do with it. but there are strict things that need to be met like parents income etc
