- My financial aid office was somewhat helpful when I was at a private school, but when I was at the community college they didn't have the staffing or expertise to be very helpful. If you really want to hunt money down and are willing to submit laborious applications, the Foundation Center is very helpful. I have included a link specifically and funding for school. Their on-line fees are reasonable. Good luck!
- Try fastweb.com they have scholarships and grants
- You can get info about such college scholarships and grants online here - scholarships.onlinewebshop.net
- The first thing you have to do is complete the free federal financial aid application. This form is available online. This form must be completed to get a Pell grant or a student loan. If you have not completed this form, do it NOW! If you want to attend college in the fall it is important that you get all of your paper work completed. There are a few scholarships that are awarded to foster children. However, you should apply for all scholarships that you qualify for.Based on your extracurricular activities, you probably qualify for several scholarships. Contact the college that you would like to attend and inquire about the ROTC program. You might be able to get a scholarship, however, you may have to commit to military service after obtaining your degree. Good Luck!
