Grants and Scholarships

Am I supposed to apply for college and scholarships at the same time?

I'm applying to a college (University of Utah) and I'm doing early applications so the application is due in December. When should I apply for the scholarships that the college offers? Is it at the same time I apply for admission or later? The deadline for scholarships for the University is in February.

1. I would definately get the school application in and work hard on the scholarships following the application because the sooner the app is in and the scholarships follow right behind it you are more likely to recieve some. However, you need to know if you are accepted first so I would get that app sent in asap. So you don't waste your time on scholarships that you don't even qualify for. Hope it helps
